Diane Christiano – Theater Director and Voice Instructor
Diane Christiano is a graduate of Lynchburg College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre and English Literature.
Diane studied voice with an emphasis on classical training and Broadway repertoire over the past twenty years with several vocal studios including Heidi Hayes and the Lynchburg College vocal department. Diane has performed with the Chorale Universitaire de Nantes in Nantes, France as well Philadelphia Singers Chorale for 8 years, previously the resident choral group for the Philadelphia Orchestra, with concerts at the Kimmel Center, the Mann Center and Carnegie Hall. She has been a soloist for the Church of the Savior Festival Choir under direction of Eastern University music department chair Ron Matthews. Additionally, Diane has performed in several operas and operettas including The Magic Flute and Mikado with the Rose Valley Chorus and Orchestra and the Delaware Valley Opera Company.
Previous theatrical roles include Maria (The Sound of Music), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), The Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods) and Billie Dawn (Born Yesterday). Diane is very active in the local theatrical community having performed and directed at Bravo Theatre Company, Narberth Community Theatre, Plays and Players, The Old Academy and The Players Club of Swarthmore.
