Maura Golebiowski


Maura Golebiowski: School Administration, Ardmore

Maura GolebiowskiMaura Golebiowski is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a dual-degree in Spanish and Music. Maura holds her Bachelors of Music in Music Theory and Music History and is a trained oboist and a singer.

At Muhlenberg College, she studied under renowned oboist, Jill Haley, and performed in the college Wind Ensemble. As a singer, Maura was thrilled to make music with the College Choir, Chamber Singers, and Campus Music Ministry group. She also loves dancing and was a member of the Copasetics, a student tap ensemble, and the Soul Sound Steppers, a group that uses the body to create movement and rhythm through synchronized clapping and stomping.

After graduating from Muhlenberg, Maura worked as a CIEE Language and Culture Assistant, teaching English at a bilingual high-school in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. One of her musical highlights while in Spain was participating in a choir workshop and concert in Madrid directed by Grammy award-winning composer and conductor Eric Whitacre.
