Jillian Miller is a graduate of Eastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, and is a PA certified teacher with principle studies in piano and secondary in voice.
Jillian is a classically trained pianist who began her studies at the age of four. Growing up, she committed herself to weekly lessons and began achieving the highest placements in regional and state competitions. She attended Eastern University and received the Gladys Howard Music Scholarship all four years of her studies. In college, Jillian performed solo repertoire as a pianist and accompanied the University Choir and the St. David’s Orchestral Society.
Jillian's vocal studies began in middle school at West Chester University. As a classically trained vocalist, Jillian has had the opportunity to perform as a choir member and soloist in a vast variety of venues throughout the East Coast and Europe. Her vocal experiences include: touring Europe with America Music Abroad and the Eastern University Choir, conducting local church choirs, being selected as a member of the touring group “Turning Point” , winning Eastern University’s version of American Idol, and performing her original songs around the Philadelphia area.
Jillian has been a teacher at the Great Valley Music Training Center since its opening in 2011. She is a passionate educator who is dedicated to teaching students of all ages and abilities.
