Abby Woodcock

 

Abby Woodcock – Voice and Pre-K Instructor

Abby Woodcock is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor’s Degree of Music in Music Therapy with a voice concentration.  Upon graduation, Abby became a Board-Certified Music Therapist and earned the MT-BC credential through the Certification Board for Music Therapists.  Abby is currently pursuing her Master’s of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in early childhood and special education.

Abby has experience instructing both voice and keyboard lessons to all ages and has performed as a vocalist in prestigious choirs and ensembles.  While studying at Temple University, she was a member of the Temple University Singers Choir and studied classical voice with Lauren Cohen. During her time at Cherokee High School, Abby was a member of the Concert Choir. For two consecutive years, she sang Alto 1 in New Jersey’s All-State Choir and performed at NJPAC in Newark, NJ.

Abby has experience in many genres like classical, rock, pop, and R&B. She also regularly performs in Philadelphia and South Jersey in the local music community. She has performed with her band at many places such as The Foundry, located at The Fillmore, and Philamoca.

Abby is also a former Marlton MTC voice and guitar student. She is looking forward to giving back to a program that inspired her to pursue music. Abby is excited to practice a student-centered teaching approach and share her love of all music with her students!
