Andrew DiGiandomenico – Guitar and Bass Instructor
Andrew DiGiandomenico is a graduate of the Temple University Boyer College of Music with a dual master’s degree in guitar performance and music history for which he completed a thesis on the guitar music of Niccolo Paganini, entitled Paganini: A Romantic Life with the Guitar. Prior to earning his master’s degree, Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in classical guitar performance from the Boyer College of Music.
Andrew first studied guitar under Dave Tronieri at Music Training Center in Conshohocken for eight years before attending Temple University. He has a diverse musical background in classical, blues, rock, jazz, and other styles. He has performed as a soloist and in ensembles in venues as such as The Union League of Philadelphia, Warmdaddy’s Blues Club, Verizon Hall and as a member of the prestigious Volterra Guitar Project in Tuscany, Italy.
As a music educator, Andrew teaches a variety of ages and topics including instrumental studies and music history. He emphasizes musical diversity as well as musicology studies and believes firmly that the study of music history is an integral component of the performing arts. Andrew has been a member of MTC’s faculty since 2016.
