Annie Flores is a graduate of the University of the Arts with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and is a degree candidate for a Masters of Music and Music Education at Columbia University. Annie studied many genres at the University of the Arts including jazz, classical, contemporary as well as musical theater. She has performed with the university chorus, opera ensemble, musical theater ensemble and performed in masterclasses with the university as well.
Annie studied german lieder and opera in Salzburg, Austria through the Austrian American Mozart Academy. She has been a member of the Philly Pops Festival Chorus since 2016 and has performed alongside the Philly Pops numerous times. Annie graduated from Paul VI High School in 2015 where she was apart of the spring musical theater productions, chamber choir and also sang with the Jazz Band. Annie was also heavily involved in community theater throughout her high school career.
Annie’s love for teaching started with an internship at the Melissa Daniels Vocal Studio in 2014. Since then she has taught at The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts, G.W Child’s Elementary School and The Aspen Grove School. Helping her students reach their full potential through music is a passion of hers that she is excited to now share with the MTC family!
