Gillian Booth – Voice Instructor

Gillian Booth is a graduate of  the Temple University Boyer College of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance, where she studied with Dr. Julie Bishop.
Gillian has served as the soprano section leader/cantor at Arch Street United Methodist Church in Center City, Philadelphia since 2016. As versatile performer of classical, operatic, musical theater, choral, and contemporary/pop repertoire, she has performed in a wide variety of settings, such as with the Ritz Theatre Company, Singchronize A Cappella, SongFest at Colburn, Eastern Region NATS Masterclasses, and LiveWire Electroacoustic Opera Co.  She has been a regular winner at NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competitions, most recently placing 2nd in her division at the 2018 Greater Philadelphia NATS. At Temple University, Gillian was a frequent soloist with TU Choirs and performed roles such as “Witch” in Dido and Aeneas with TU Opera Theater.
Gillian is excited be be a member of Music Training Center’s faculty where she seeks to provide an inclusive, safe learning environment that nurtures musical and vocal growth.
