James Udinsky, Drum Instructor
James Udinsky is a graduate of the University of the Arts with a Bachelors of Music in Drum Performance. During his time at University of the Arts, James studied under the direction of Dr. Rob Brosh, Joe Nero, and Erik Johnson.
James began his musical journey in the second grade with his first instrument being the trumpet. Fascinated by music, James continued on to learn to play the trombone and tuba, before branching out to the drums in the seventh grade. Growing up, James took every opportunity to play music, performing in the school concert band, jazz band, marching band, and choir.
As a teacher, James puts a focus on reading and technique, providing the student with the tools necessarily to communicate with other musicians and to play with ease. James enjoys teaching rock, pop, jazz, and funk.
