Jen Grasso – Center Director, Plymouth Meeting
Jennifer Morris Grasso is an accomplished actor, choreographer, director, teacher, and member of Actor’s Equity Association. For 17 years, Jen performed on Broadway Tours and at the Walnut Street Theatre; favorites include Will Rogers Follies, 42nd Street, and Crazy for You. Offstage, she has booked numerous print ads, fashion runway shows in NYC, and spent six years with Mattel as Barbie.
Jen graduated Summa Cum Laude in Theater and Dance Education from Rowan University. She has been a certified Theater and Dance teacher in private and public high schools and colleges for the last 16 years including Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Germantown Friends, and Saint Joseph’s University. She also directs, choreographs, and teaches at talent agencies and many theater companies in the tri-state area.
Jen has been a featured dancer on the Rosie O’Donnell Show and Miss Ohio Pageant, and danced alongside Gregory Hines and Savion Glover in the Tap Dance Kid. Highlights of her acting career include a few supporting roles in feature films, many national and local television commercials, and Broadway Show commercials. Her choreography has been recognized in many shows including Newsies, 13 the Musical, West Side Story, Once on this Island, In the Heights, Rent, and Matilda.
Jen has the energy and passion for teaching the performing arts and is grateful to be surrounded by so many talented students. She also is thankful for her husband and sons for their love and support.
