Maggie Rineman

Maggie Rineman – Voice Instructor

Maggie Rineman is a degree candidate for Bachelor of Voice Performance degree at Temple University with concentration in Jazz Performance. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Kutztown University, where she studied voice with esteemed vocalist, Cathy Chemi and with jazz pianist and composer, Neal Kirkwood.
Maggie studies jazz, contemporary and classical techniques and performs in a variety of university jazz ensembles and choirs.
Maggie sang in After Hours, the Kutztown university jazz choir, and as a soloist with the Kutztown University Big Band, with whom she performed in NYC. She has since performed with Kumare, a five piece band consisting of her and some KU bandmates, and fronted her own trio called Maggie’s Farm.
Currently, Maggie performs as a solo artist and in the Philadelphia area. With a strong foundation in classical training, her repertoire, style, and songwriting all stem from her love of the Jazz idiom. She has a passion for sharing her love of music and an affinity for working with children.
