Molly White – Pre-K Music Teacher

Molly White, known to their students as “Teacher Lee,” is graduate of Rowan University and an ebullient and empathetic educator who focuses on early childhood education and the primary relationship with music for small children and beginning musicians.
Lee began taking private lessons in classical piano at the age of three, percussion at nine, and has performed in a professional choral setting since age ten, and they have continued the lifelong passion of performing and composing music ever since. In high school, Lee was featured in the Teen Arts performance series as a soloist in both classical piano and voice.
Lee placed as one of the top vocalists in New Jersey both 2011 and 2012 for Soprano 1, and has worked with conductors Dr. Christopher Thomas (Rowan University), Dr. David Fryling (Hofstra University) and composer Dr. Z. Randall Stroope.
Lee mentors children in percussion, voice, piano, and ukulele. In Pre-K music lessons, Lee focuses on early ear training and note following through call-and-response and rhythm repetition, helping young children to understand the flow of music before progressing to note spelling and sight reading.
Lee is also a singer/songwriter and performer who is known around the greater Philadelphia area for their music, highlighted on radio stations like 103.3 WPRB Princeton, 88.5 WXPN, and various online radio shows as well as being featured in publications such as The Key, Deli Magazine, and Cherry-Veen Zine.
Music is a beautiful language of expression and emotion, and Teacher Lee is passionate about helping your child establish their lifelong relationship with music in a positive, nurturing, and fun setting!
