Dr. Victoria Hart, Voice Instructor

victoriahart120x90Victoria (Vicky) Hart is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Doctorate and Masters Degree in Classical Vocal Performance.  She holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Vocal Arranging and Professional Music from the Berklee College of Music.
Vicky has performed with Opera Santa Barbara, Eugene Opera, Pacific Repertory Opera, Knoxville Opera, Sacramento Opera, and Rimrock Opera, among others. As an orchestral soloist, she has sung at Carnegie Hall, with the Evansville Symphony Orchestra, the Bakersfield Orchestra, and Angeles Chorale. She has produced recitals and concert events as well as master classes throughout Southern California, including at Classical Singer conventions.  She served as an Artist in Residence at the Sisak International Voices festival in Sisak, Croatia.
Vicky is delighted to use her expertise in both classical and contemporary music to help her students become the singers and musicians they want to be.  She has worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, both in her private studio, and at institutions such as The Colburn School of Performing Arts (Los Angeles), American Musical and Dramatic Academy (Hollywood), Cerritos College (Norwalk, CA), and Westmont College (Montecito, CA).
Vicky’s greatest satisfaction is to help students grow as singers, musicians, and people by developing a strong foundation in their instrument, performance skills, and music literacy.  She is deeply committed to helping students build confidence through encouragement and positive experiences.  She believes that the study of music is tremendously important not only for its own sake, but also for the invaluable life skills that students gain from a deep immersion into all aspects of the art.
